The Elmore Sports Group also owns travel and incentive companies that specialize in major sporting events, such as the Olympics.

David G. Elmore founded the Elmore Sports Group in 1969 as a vehicle for sports entertainment. In the years following, Mr. Elmore built the Elmore Sports Group into a nationally respected and diverse organization that answers the question, “What are we doing this weekend?”
Mr. Elmore is a multitalented entrepreneur. Hailed as a leader of industry, particularly in the fields of travel and tourism, Mr. Elmore was appointed to the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board as Vice Chairman of the Board in 1987. Since 1991, Mr. Elmore has served on the Joint Committee of the National Association of Professional Baseball, working with other owners to find solutions that plague minor league and major league teams. Among Mr. Elmore’s accolades, Baseball America hailed him as a unique leader among minor league team owners.
Mr. Elmore is recognized nationally for his accomplishments in travel and tourism. In 1984, he was appointed to the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board by the Secretary of Commerce and in 1987 served as Vice Chairman of the Board. Since 1991, Elmore has served on the Joint Committee of the National Association of Professional Baseball. This committee is comprised of 4 minor league owners and 4 major league owners and together they work on all issues concerning both leagues. In 1995, Baseball America singled him out as a unique figure amongst minor league team owners and in 2016 he was named the King of Baseball, a longstanding tradition in which Minor League Baseball recognizes a veteran of professional baseball for longtime dedication and service.
D.G. Elmore, JR
D.G. Elmore, Jr. joined the management of the Sky Sox Baseball Club in 1991. He is currently the Chairman and Owner/Part Owner in several different companies including Gant Travel Management, Decision Tree Resources, Adams & Westlake, Solution Tree, Butterfield Foods and Cornerstone Information Systems. He is also an owner of Minor League Baseball teams, including the Helena Brewers and the Bakersfield Blaze. In addition to his business involvements, D.G. is Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Navigators. The Navigators is an international Christian organization headquartered in Colorado Springs whose mission is to reach, disciple and equip people to know Christ and make Him known through successive generations. D.G. and his wife Gini of 34 years make their home in Bloomington, Indiana. D.G. and Gini have six adult children.
Elmore is also involved in real estate, having owned and developed hotels, industrial parks, condominiums, and gas stations. Doug Elmore has a B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University. Elmore and his wife, Julie, live in the Chicago area with their three boys
